Storm Damage – Prattville Commercial Building

Storm damage at this Prattville commercial facility was caused by thunderstorms which packed powerful winds and heavy rain. A part of the roof of the building was torn off allowing the rainwater to flow freely into the building. SERVPRO of Prattville was called in to place tarps on the roof to stop the flow of water into the inside of the building. Once the rain stopped, we arranged for roofing repairs and began the water damage restoration process. We had debris to clean up as many ceiling panels were soaked and on the floor of the offices. We used trailer mounted extraction equipment to remove the water from the floors. The final phase entailed drying the facility with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers.
